Made to stay.
Create a complete identity for a denim label centred on considered everyday clothing. The mark needs to work on a small woven tab, a leather patch and a campaign.
Who it’s for
People who prefer a few dependable garments and pay attention to cut, fabric and construction.
The challenge
A fashion identity can become louder than its product. This brand should have a recognisable signature while letting the material and the person wearing it remain central.
Turn construction into character. A compact, heavy wordmark is interrupted by a precise seam-like cut. A parallel stitch device gives the identity a second register for labels, printed pages and packaging.
Why Selv?
Selv is drawn from the sound of selvedge. Its four-letter shape is compact enough for a patch and strong enough to hold a campaign image.
A wordmark that can take wear
Broad letterforms and controlled internal cuts keep the mark substantial. The final L–V relationship creates a distinctive finish to the silhouette.
Use the garment’s own palette
Indigo, unbleached cotton and copper carry through the print and packaging. The brand gains consistency from materials already present in the product.
Keep the campaign human
Natural posture and directional light make the clothes feel inhabited. The lookbook alternates that human scale with close details of stitching and texture.
A fashion concept connecting identity, garment details, packaging, an editorial lookbook and campaign imagery. No manufacturing heritage or sustainability certification is implied.
A fictional project created with AI and art-directed in the Notable studio. This is a curated concept study, not a client commission. The images illustrate a creative direction; editable identity assets and production preparation are separate steps.
