A quiet kind of radiance.
Create a considered cosmetics brand with a distinctive signature, a coherent product family and a sense of quiet ceremony. The identity must work on a small cap, a tall vessel and a full campaign.
Who it’s for
People who choose beauty products for their daily ritual as much as their place on a shelf.
The challenge
Small containers leave very little room for a story. A conventional label would make the product look interchangeable; the form, colour and mark need to do more of the work.
Treat radiance as something revealed. An interwoven V and L, held within a crescent, becomes a signature that can be read in ink, caught in relief or suggested by a curved shadow. The same relationship between a precise edge and a soft curve governs the vessels.
Why Velune?
Velune is an invented name chosen for its soft rhythm and its suggestion of a veil and moonlight. It gives the identity a sound before it has a shape.
A mark with a material life
The high-contrast monogram is designed as a cap detail as well as a printed mark. The wordmark uses generous spacing so that the vertical application stays composed.
One family, several expressions
Lilac and rose distinguish the vessels while the collar, glass base and embossed placement hold the range together. Aubergine gives the presentation packaging a deeper register.
Let the light explain the form
Grazing light reveals the relief and faceting. Campaign shadows repeat the crescent rather than adding a second unrelated decorative language.
A connected concept spanning identity, vessel design, packaging and campaign art direction. The physical forms and materials are visual proposals requiring engineering and print preparation.
